A collection of industrial design concepts exploring what futuristic phones could look like.
01
Imagining the next phone
I made these concept renders in 7th and 8th grade, modeling each design in 3D and rendering it like a product shot. Most of the phones are built around a screen that runs almost to the edges, framed in blue. To keep the whole front for the screen, one design moves the camera into a module that rises out of the top edge.
02
End caps and a box
Another design moves the color out of the frame and into two blue end caps above and below the screen. I also designed the packaging for one of the phones, down to the tray that holds it in the box.
03
A desktop on a jointed arm
The desktop computer is designed as a set: a thin teal line runs through the display, the keyboard and the trackpad, and the display floats on a jointed arm that meets a teal-ringed mount on its back. The turntable video shows the arm from every side.
